A wonderful book with and then much to look at. I felt I couldn't fully appreciate this read on open up library. The illustrations are so intricate that looking at them on a screen isn't the best manner to view them. I love the way the title page words were made up of illustrations. This volume shows every type of dwelling you can call back of and some you hadn't thought of as homes! This is such and interesting book packed full of detailed illustrations. Although I did think this book was a bit lengthy and weirdly structured in terms of having some rhyming pages and so none, I did dearest the analogy and the characters within the book. O.M.G. I love this book! Unfortunately, I like it more than than my daughter and my hubby. I'm hoping that they will abound to love information technology as my 2.5 yr erstwhile gets older. I could see using this book for K5, 1st or even 2nd grade. The illustrations are delightful. Some nice rhyming features. Answers the question -- what is a firm? What kind of things are kept in other things? I think this would be a nice conversation started. Probably about a vi minute read aloud.
